A haven for memorabilia cards, the Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey 2022-23 set maintains the hits formula that gives three per Hobby box. Hits can be autographs, relics or technical inserts.

While the Rookie Redemption line is another focus, the 2021-22 edition came too late to emphasize it, issuing living rookie cards instead. However, Rookie IOUs are back for the 22-23 year.

Base / Parallels 2022-23 Upper Deck Hockey Artifacts
With the addition of a new goalie-specific subset, the 2022-23 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey master checklist increases to 200 cards. This breakdown includes 100 regular base cards, 35 stars (#101-135; #/599), 20 goalies (#136-155; #/599), 15 legends (#156-170; #/599) and 30 rookies (#171-200; #/999).

Like last year, there are many colors in the parallel base rainbow, including black (#/5) reserved for amateurs.

Look for four serially numbered base and/or parallel cards per Hobby box, one of which is limited to 99 copies or less.
